Description
9% belga stout
Brasserie des Légendes (1993) Ellezelles, Hainaut
Its color, like the darkest hour of the night, is impenetrable blackness. The aroma is reserved, with hints of roasted coffee beans in the distance. From the first sip, our mouths are filled with powerful roasted flavors and aromas, complemented by a hint of dark chocolate. The aftertaste is long and intense, the swallowed sip almost paints our throats black. In the lingering finish, strong bitterness emerges alongside the coffee flavor, followed by the return of dark chocolate. Its intense flavor almost overwhelms the warmth derived from its high alcohol content. An excellent stout recommended for Hercule Poirot.
